Pinot & Pilates Girls Night Out

Friday 26 August, 5-7pm

Join Rose for a Pilates Mat session focusing on tasting some delicious Pinot wines (as well as our abs) and cheese accompaniments with Danilo from Arcade Wine in West Ashgrove.

There is no set formula to this night— so grab a bunch of girlfriends, book your mat space and join us for a chat and a giggle in our studio. $5 from every ticket sold will go towards a local charity.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your own mat-sized towel for hygiene purposes.

Please note: if you fail to attend, you will forfeit the cost of the ticket. Cancellations will only be accepted with 48 hours written notice via email.

Awaken Your Spine Workshop

Saturday 3 September, 2-4pm

This 2 hour workshop offers a beautiful blend of practices that enhances the understanding of spinal health, cultivates functional strength & mobility, and enables the release of muscular tension in the back, neck & shoulders. If you sit at a desk all week long - this workshop is definitely for you!

This workshop includes the use of the BackMitra – a simple & ingenious prop that aids in the re-alignment of the natural curves of the spine and helps create more space, grace & ease in the body.

Some key benefits of the BackMitra is that it aids the realignment of the natural curves of the spine; relieves headaches, tensions in scalp, jaw and face; expands breath capacity; relaxes spine, neck and shoulder muscles as well as restoring mobility in neck, shoulders and pelvis.

This workshop holds as much of a preventative approach as it holds the potential to aid the recovery of injury. Poor posture causes decreased mobility, joint deformities, and even respiratory problems.

About the facilitator: Alexandra started out with 15 years of dance experience where she learned about the body and its mechanics, as well as how to feel her own inner stillness and connection with life. Alexandra has now been teaching yoga close to 12 years.

Hire our Yin space

Our beautifully naturally lit Yin space is available for hire for either your private event, yoga workshop, sound healing or meditation party, dance class, reformer training etc. Also, we are more than happy to collaborate with you to spread the benefits of wellness to the community.

At One Body Studio we can design a wellness event for you and your party, or alternatively you can hire the space and do the event coordination with your team.

We are conveniently located on a main road with a bus stop across the road, plenty of parking and only 15 minutes from Brisbane city. Access to our reception area, kitchenette and bathroom facilities is also included.

So if you’re looking for a venue that invites inclusivity, serenity and wellness vibes, please get in touch.

Cost: minimum $70 room hire for 60 mins (depending on number of attendees). This does not include equipment rental.
